We are proud to announce that Prof. Andrzej Górski, head of the Bacteriophage Laboratory at the IIET PAS, has once again been included in the prestigious international Research.com ranking. As was the case last year, Professor Górski took 3rd place among Polish scientists in the field of immunology, remaining the only researcher from the Polish Academy of Sciences to be recognised in this category.
In the latest edition of the “Best Immunology Scientists 2026” ranking, Prof. Andrzej Górski has risen in the global standings, taking 3077th place among immunologists worldwide.
The Research.com ranking is based on the D-index (discipline-specific H-index), which takes into account a scientist’s publication output in a given field and the number of citations of their work. The data used to compile the ranking comes from the OpenAlex and CrossRef databases, and the list is updated annually.
