Graduate internships

  • The Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy of the Polish Academy of Sciences (the Institute) may accept a person who has completed an engineering, bachelor’s or master’s degree and is under 30 years of age on the day the internship begins as a graduate intern.
  • Graduate practice at the Institute may be unpaid or paid.
  • A candidate for a graduate internship contacts ( https://hirszfeld.pl/ tab: Structure ) the head of the laboratory of his choice to determine the possibility of an internship, its date and scope .
  • During the internship at the Institute, the graduate student must have accident (personal injury) and third-party liability insurance. The apprentice is required to attach to the contract a photocopy of proof of insurance certified as a true copy of the original.
  • The apprenticeship can be carried out only on the basis of a written agreement between the apprentice and the Institute. The contract must be signed before the internship begins and delivered to the Human Resources and Payroll Department.
  • If the Apprentice has access to personal information. The laboratory manager shall notify the Human Resources and Payroll department.
  • At the end of the internship, at the request of the apprentice, an appropriate certificate may be issued, confirming the completion of graduate practice at the Institute, signed by the Director of the Institute and the laboratory manager.
