The list was compiled by the Editorial Board of Gazeta Wrocławska, recognising women who, through their professional and social activities, have a tangible impact on life in the region.

The list includes representatives from the worlds of science, business, culture, sport, politics and social activism. The inclusion of these two researchers on the list is a source of pride and recognises their work and commitment to the advancement of science.

From 21 August to 1 October, readers and internet users can vote for their candidates. The three women with the highest number of votes will be featured in a book summarising the campaign and will represent Lower Silesia in the national final.

We congratulate both researchers on their nominations and are keeping our fingers crossed for the voting results!
