Last Sunday, 20 October, the 24th Polityka Science Awards were presented in Warsaw. We have already reported that Anna Jarząb, PhD Eng. from the Medical Microbiology Laboratory of IIET PAS, was among the 15 finalists. However, this is not the end of the good news – out of the 15 finalists, five laureates were selected to receive scholarships from the Polityka Weekly Foundation. Among these five was Anna Jarząb, PhD Eng., who turned out to be the best in the ‘Natural Sciences’ category. In recognition of her effort and contribution to the development of science, the Foundation awarded scholarships of PLN 15,000, as well as a ‘media award’ in the form of an interview in Polityka.
