The 11th International Scientific Conference EPIMILITARIS 2025, dedicated to epidemiology and CBRNE safety, was held on 7-9 April in Ryn, Mazury. The Hirszfeld Institute was represented by researchers from the Laboratory of Genomics and Bioinformatics: Łukasz Łaczmański DSc, head of the Laboratory, Katarzyna Nowis PhD and Dorota Kujawa MSc.
The conference was held under the honorary patronage of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, and the scientific patronage was assumed by the Military Institute of Aviation Medicine.
The programme included scientific sessions, expert panels, equipment presentations and a poster session. Topics discussed included biological and chemical threats, crisis management, modern technologies and experiences from recent years in the field of health and national security.
