We are delighted to announce that Mehlayl Tariq, M.Sc., a PhD student in the Laboratory of Biomedical Chemistry headed by Tomasz Goszczyński, Ph.D., D.Sc., won first prize in the best poster competition at the Euroboron 10 international conference, held from 6-10 July in Łódź, Poland. The Euroboron conference is one of the world’s most important scientific events dedicated to boron chemistry. The 1st Place Poster Award was given for the poster entitled “Beyond Antibiotics: Designing Metallacarborane-Containing Peptides for the Treatment of Bacterial Infections”.
