The coordinators of the National Science Centre today presented the third ranking list of projects eligible for funding under the MINIATURA 9 competition. We are proud to announce that three more projects by researchers from the Hirszfeld Institute have been recognised:
- Daria Artyszuk, PhD (Laboratory of Microbial Immunochemistry and Vaccines): ‘Identification of gene clusters responsible for the biosynthesis of Flavonifractor plautii virulence factors with potential significance in the aetiology of inflammatory bowel disease’, funding awarded: PLN 49,999;
- Jagoda Siemaszko, PhD (Laboratory of Clinical Immunogenetics and Pharmacogenetics): ‘Genetic and functional determinants of NK cell activity in allogeneic haematopoietic cell transplantation – the role of NKG2E, NKG2F, KLRG1 receptors and the CD107a molecule’, funding awarded: PLN 49,830;
- Weronika Jasińska, PhD (Laboratory of Medical Microbiology): ‘Temperature-induced metabolic changes in pathogens: molecular analysis of bacterial response to fever’, funding awarded: PLN 49,995.
