The latest issue of Forbes Polska magazine features an interview with Prof. Andrzej Gamian, Director of the Ludwik Hirszfeld Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Wrocław.

Professor Gamian spoke about the mission and unique character of the Institute, which, in the spirit of Prof. Ludwik Hirszfeld’s ideas, combines science with social responsibility. He also emphasised the importance of an interdisciplinary approach and the strength of the IIET PAS research team in developing pioneering therapies, such as phage therapy, CAR-T projects for patients with multiple myeloma, as well as initiatives in the field of digital medicine and data biobanking.

By combining scientific research with clinical activity and collaboration with the economy, the Institute is becoming a key centre for implementing innovations in healthcare in Poland.
