Agnieszka Razim, PhD, receives NAWA grant

We are pleased to announce that the Director of the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) has awarded funding for a research project entitled ‘Bile-driven modulation of bacterial extracellular vesicles: Production, composition, and functional impacts on host and microbiota’.

The project, coordinated by Agnieszka Razim, PhD, from the Microbiome Immunobiology Laboratory IIET PAS, has received a positive recommendation from the bilateral Polish-Austrian commission as part of joint research projects between the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Austria. The implementation of the project will enable intensive academic exchange between the Microbiome Immunobiology Laboratory of the Hirszfeld Institute and the Medical University of Vienna (a laboratory headed by Irma Schabussova, PhD).

Funding in the amount of PLN 30,000 has been allocated for the implementation of the project.
