11 February marks International Day of Women and Girls in Science. To mark the occasion, we invite you to listen to a conversation with Anna Jarząb, PhD, DSc, Eng, from the Medical Microbiology Laboratory, winner of the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science 2025 programme.

In the conversation, Anna Jarząb, PhD, DSc, Eng, will talk about her research on immunity mechanisms, which are important for a better understanding of the functioning of the immune system and the development of modern therapeutic strategies. This topic is particularly relevant in the context of seasonal infections and public health challenges.

The conversation will also touch upon the path a woman must take to become a scientist, the challenges facing Polish science, and the differences between the realities of research work in Poland and abroad.
