We are delighted to announce that Prof. Jolanta Zakrzewska-Czerwińska, PhD, DSc, member of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy of the Polish Academy of Sciences, has received an award from the Minister of Science and Higher Education for her lifetime scientific achievements.
Prof. Jolanta Zakrzewska-Czerwińska is an outstanding researcher in the field of bacterial molecular biology, in particular the mechanisms of replication and chromosome organisation in pathogenic bacteria.
Professor Zakrzewska-Czerwińska conducted her research at the Institute for many years. She organised and headed the Laboratory of Molecular Biology of Microorganisms and the Doctoral Programme. She is currently a member of the Faculty of Biotechnology at the University of Wrocław.
