About me

I received my PhD in Medical and Health Sciences in 2024 from the Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Before that, I completed an MSc in Biology with a specialization in Human Biology at the University of Wroclaw.

My research is grounded in evolutionary medicine and focuses on the biological and psychosocial determinants of human health and development. In particular, I examine how maternal well-being and stress are associated with breast milk composition and offspring development.

I integrate diverse research methodologies, including anthropometric methods, laboratory analyses, and psychological questionnaires. I currently lead a project funded by the Polish National Science Centre (PRELUDIUM) that investigates links between maternal stress, the bacterial microbiome of breast milk, and child development.
