Martyna Cieślik, MSc, receives a FEMS Grant for Early Career Scientists

We are pleased to announce that Martyna Cieślik, Ph.D. Student, from the Bacteriophage Laboratory, has received the FEMS Grant for Early Career Scientists, awarded by the Federation of European Microbiological Societies (FEMS). The grant provides financial support for participation in the international conference “Viruses of Microbes 2026,” covering a portion of the registration fees.

The award was presented during the “Viruses of Microbes 2026” conference, which brought together researchers from around the world working on bacteriophages, microbiology, and molecular interactions between viruses and their hosts. Participation in the event provided an opportunity to exchange experiences, establish new scientific contacts, and learn about the latest advances in this field.
