During the 7th Polish Congress of Genetics in Wrocław, the General Assembly of Members of the Polish Genetic Society was held, at which a new Executive Committee was elected.

We are proud to announce that Krzysztof Pawlik, PhD DSc, Head of the Biotechnology Laboratory at the IIET PAS, has been elected President of the Polish Genetic Society, whilst Łukasz Łaczmański, PhD, DSc, Deputy Director for Scientific Research at IIET PAS and Head of the Genomics and Bioinformatics Laboratory at IIET PAS, has been elected Vice-President.

The term of office for the new Executive Board will last four years.
