We are proud to announce that the World Invention Intellectual Property Associations (WIIPA) has awarded the Ludwik Hirszfeld Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy of the Polish Academy of Sciences a silver medal at the 2023 Kaohsiung International Invention & Design EXPO (30.11-2.12.2023, Kaohsiung, Taiwan).

The award was given to the invention “Phage preparation for rectal use”, whose creators are Slawomir Letkiewicz, MD, PhD, Ryszard Międzybrodzki, MD, PhD, and Prof. Andrzej Gorski, MD, PhD.
