On February 21, a ceremony was held at the Wroclaw City Hall to award diplomas to the winners of the Student Scholarship Program, which was attended by two doctoral students of the Wroclaw Doctoral School of PAS Institutes operating at the Ludwik Hirszfeld Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Katarzyna Pacyga-Prus, M.Sc. (supervisor Dr. Sabina Górska, Laboratory of Immunobiology of the Microbiome) and Marta Piksa, M.Sc. (supervisor Dr. Krzysztof Pawlik, Laboratory of Molecular Biology of Microorganisms & Prof. Dr. Katarzyna Matczyszyn, Wroclaw University of Technology) received diplomas and gifts from the hands of Wroclaw Mayor Jacek Sutryk.

The Ludwik Hirszfeld Scholarship is awarded as part of the Student Scholarship Program implemented on the initiative of the President of Wroclaw by the Wroclaw Academic Center, and the scholarships are financed by the Municipality of Wroclaw.
