The World’s Top 2% Scientists ranking is a compilation of the most cited scientists from around the world, prepared by analysts from Stanford University, Elsevier Publishing and SciTech Strategies, based on the Scopus database. The compilation consists of two separate lists – the first assesses the scientific achievements of researchers from the beginning of their scientific career until the end of 2023, while the second takes into account only publications and citations from the last calendar year. We are proud to announce that Prof. Joanna Wietrzyk, head of the Laboratory of Experimental Anticancer Therapy, is on the first list, and Prof. Krystyna Dąbrowska, head of the Laboratory of Phage Molecular Biology, is on the second list.
