Honorata Kraśkiewicz, PhD Eng., in Forbes magazine

The latest issue of Forbes magazine’s Science and Business report featured an interview with Honorata Kraśkiewicz, PhD Eng., of the IIET PAS’s Laboratory of Biology of Stem and Neoplastic Cells, about faster wound healing thanks to science.

Chronic skin inflammation is a major public health problem. At the Hirszfeld Institute, under the leadership of Honorata Kraśkeiwicz, PhD Eng., two research projects are underway to accelerate wound healing:

NCN M-ERA.NET 3 Call 2023 “Electrospun scarf containing bacteriophages, mesenchymal stem cell factors and MXenes with antimicrobial properties and promoting wound healing” (years 2024-2027, allocated funds PLN 1,570,442);

NCN SONATA BIS 13 “Therapeutic Potential of the Secretome of Human Adipose Tissue Mesenchymal Stem Cells (HATMSCs) in Chronic Skin Diseases” (years 2024-2028, awarded funds PLN 2,553,940).
