Chronic skin inflammation is a major public health problem. At the Hirszfeld Institute, under the leadership of Honorata Kraśkeiwicz, PhD Eng., two research projects are underway to accelerate wound healing:
NCN M-ERA.NET 3 Call 2023 “Electrospun scarf containing bacteriophages, mesenchymal stem cell factors and MXenes with antimicrobial properties and promoting wound healing” (years 2024-2027, allocated funds PLN 1,570,442);
NCN SONATA BIS 13 “Therapeutic Potential of the Secretome of Human Adipose Tissue Mesenchymal Stem Cells (HATMSCs) in Chronic Skin Diseases” (years 2024-2028, awarded funds PLN 2,553,940).
