On 7 November 2024, the international congress ‘LET “S TALK ABOUT IT” was held in Paniówki near Gliwice. The Ludwik Hirszfeld Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy of the Polish Academy of Sciences was represented by its Director, Prof. Andrzej Gamian, who gave a lecture entitled ‘Latest implementations for medicine’, as part of the panel discussion ‘The limits of human capabilities: New development paths and breakthrough challenges’.
The proceedings were followed by an awards ceremony. The International Development Agency awarded the Hirszfeld Institute the Global Health Care Award 2024, in recognition of the professionalism and achievements that serve as an example for others and for the contributions made toward growth and the pursuit of the highest standards, which contribute to building quality and excellence in the field of health.
