In November of this year, the New York Academy of Medicine premiered on the US East Coast the documentary film “Mensch” directed by Paweł Wysoczański. The screening of the film was also held at the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in New York. The guest was Ewa Głowacka (in the red dress in the photo) – the wife of Janusz Głowacki. Ewa was saved by Ludwik Hirszfeld in Wroclaw through an exchange transfusion. According to the director’s words “ Her confession was touching and was a great point of the meeting.”
