Jakub Smoliński, M.Sc. – best academic teacher in Lower Silesia

Jakub Smoliński

We are delighted to announce that Jakub Smoliński, M.Sc., a doctoral student in the Laboratory of Medical Microbiology, who is also an assistant at the Faculty of Biology and Animal Science at Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences, has won first place in the Lower Silesian and eighth place in the country in the educational plebiscite Academic Teacher 2024 by Gazeta Wrocławska. The national gala at which the awards and statuettes will be presented will be held in March at the Royal Castle in Warsaw.

Jakub Smoliński teaches subjects such as information technology, environmentally friendly livestock husbandry, fur farming and the biology of wild and domesticated dogs. The laureate was entered into the competition by students, which he regards as a great honour. The honour is all the greater in that Jakub Smoliński is only just beginning his journey in educating students and was ahead of lecturers with much more seniority in the competition.

Our sincere congratulations.
