Agnieszka Razim, PhD, among the finalists of the 25th edition of the Polityka Scientific Awards

The names of the 15 finalists of the 25th anniversary edition of the Polityka Scientific Awards have been announced. The awards are granted in five categories: humanities, social sciences, exact sciences, technical sciences, and life sciences.

The competition is a two-stage process. In the first stage, the Professorial Chapter, composed of eminent scholars, specialists in various fields, and editors of Polityka, selected 15 finalists from among nearly 500 entries. In the second stage, the Social Chapter, composed of authorities representing various areas of social and public life, will select five winners.

We are proud to announce that Agnieszka Razim, PhD, from the Laboratory of Microbiome Immunobiology IIET PAS, is among the finalists in the life sciences category.

The names of the winners will be announced during a gala ceremony on 19 October. More information about the finalists of the 25th edition of the Scientific Awards can be found in the latest issue of Polityka weekly.

To date, 392 scientists have benefited from the scholarship programme run by the Polityka Weekly Foundation. Since its inception in 2001, they have received a total of over PLN 7.1 million.
