We are pleased to announce that the Jury of the Quality Competition organised by the European Centre for Quality Research in Kraków has awarded the Hirszfeld Institute the ‘High Quality in Healthcare’ Certificate and the Special ‘Leader in Health Education’ Certificate in the 11th edition of the Competition.

For the past 11 years, this prestigious award has been presented to Polish hospitals, clinics, medical companies and other organisations within the broader healthcare sector that undertake exceptional, innovative and effective initiatives to promote modern management practices and the implementation of high standards in patient care.

The competition’s Grand Final Gala took place on 20 April in Warsaw, at the Staszic Palace of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The Ludwik Hirszfeld Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy of the Polish Academy of Sciences was assessed in relation to the CAR-T project and was represented at the ceremony by Prof. Lidia Karabon and Emilia Jaskuła, PhD, from the Laboratory of Genetics and Epigenetics of Human Diseases.
