Submissions for consideration for publication in the journal should be submitted online via the Editorial Manager system, available under Submit (https://www.editorialmanager.com/phmd).
Advances in Hygiene and Experimental Medicine is a scientific journal affiliated with the Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Wrocław. The journal publishes articles in the field of experimental medicine and related sciences, with particular emphasis on: immunology, oncology, cell biology, microbiology and genetics. All journal publications are available as open access under the Creative Commons licence.
Until 2004, papers were published in Advances in Hygiene and Experimental Medicine only in Polish. In 2005, acceptance of articles in English began. As of 2022, the journal publishes only English-language papers. This involves the dissemination of an English version of the journal’s title.
