As part of its cooperation with universities, the Institute engages in the organization of internships and scientific placements, providing opportunities for future academics. Each year, the Institute receives more than a dozen students wishing to develop their scientific interests.
To start a student internship, you must have:
- a student internship referral from the University
- valid accident insurance (NNW)
- valid third-party liability (OC) insurance
- a student internship contract – bilateral (e.g., between the university and the Institute) or tripartite (between you, the university and the Institute).
You must submit your student internship insurance to Human Resources and Payroll no later than the first day of your internship.
You can find a model student internship agreement on your university’s website, among others.
“The organization of student internships is regulated by the Law of July 20, 2018. Law on Higher Education and Science. In accordance with Article 67(5) of this Law, studies are conducted on the basis of a program of study, which may provide for a student’s internship (Article 67(5)).
