We would like to inform you that the journal Acta Biochimica Polonica published an article by prof. dr hab. inż. Janusz Boratyński entitled “Why were there fewer deaths in the lake chain areas?” He superimposed data on COVID-19 on the map. According to the article’s hypothesis, biologically active substances synthesized and released into the atmosphere by phytoplankton, zooplankton and fungi living in lakes may be responsible for slowing down the pandemic in areas with lakes.
