We are proud to announce that two doctoral students of the Wroclaw Doctoral School of Institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences have been awarded the Ludwik Hirszfeld Fellowship for outstanding achievements in biological and medical sciences. Katarzyna Pacyga-Prus, M.Sc., is part of the team of the Laboratory of Immunobiology of the Microbiome, and Marta Piksa, M.Sc., of the Laboratory of Molecular Biology of Microorganisms of IITD PAN.

The Ludwik Hirszfeld Scholarship is awarded as part of the Student Scholarship Program implemented on the initiative of the President of Wroclaw by the Wroclaw Academic Center, and the scholarships are financed by the Municipality of Wroclaw.
