Dr. Karolina Piekarska laureate of the Award of the Wroclaw Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences “Iuvenes Wratislaviae”

We are proud to announce that Karolina Piekarska, PhD, from the Laboratory of Immunogenetics and Tissue Immunology, headed by Izabela Nowak, PhD, has been awarded the XII Prize of the Wrocław Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences “Iuvenes Wratislaviae” for her achievement entitled: “Influence of immunological genetic and protein factors on recurrent embryo implantation failure after in vitro fertilization”. The prize is awarded to young scientists for outstanding achievements in two equal categories: life sciences, science and technology, and humanities, social sciences and arts. This award was given for the first time in the history of the Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Our sincere congratulations!
