We are pleased to announce that Honorata Kraśkiewicz, Ph.D., from the Independent Laboratory of Stem Cell and Cancer Biology, headed by Prof. Aleksandra Klimczak, Ph.D., has been awarded a grant funded by NCN under the M-ERA.NET Call 2023 competition for international research projects on materials science and engineering. The competition attracted 382 initial applications, followed by 109 full applications. Funding in the amount of 44 million euros was eventually awarded to 43 international research projects involving 205 teams, including nine research projects involving scientists from Poland. Ms. Honorata Kraśkiewicz’s project “Electrospun scarf containing bacteriophages, mesenchymal stem cell factors and MXenes with antimicrobial properties and promoting wound healing” is second on the ranking list and has received funding of PLN 1,570,442.
