Prof. Aleksandra Klimczak, MD, PhD Chair of the Committee on Immunology and Etiology of Human Infections of the Polish Academy of Sciences for the term 2024-2027

On May 13, 2024, the first plenary meeting of the Committee on Immunology and Etiology of Human Infections of the Polish Academy of Sciences was held at Faculty V of Medical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, at which the Dean of Faculty V of Medical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Marek Krawczyk, handed out acts of appointment as members of the Committee and the election of the Chairman and Presidium of the Committee took place. We are proud to announce that Prof. Aleksandra Klimczak, head of the  Laboratory of Biology of Stem and Neoplastic Cells  has been elected Chairman of the Committee on Immunology and Etiology of Human Infections of the Polish Academy of Sciences for the term 2024-2027. Among those elected to the Committee were researchers from our Institute: prof. dr. Andrzej Gamian, prof. dr. hab. Katarzyna Bogunia-Kubik, prof. dr. hab. Anna Chelmonska-Soyta, prof. dr. hab. Andrzej Górski – a member of PAN, prof. dr. hab. Leon Strządała, dr. hab. Sabina Górska, dr. hab. Jacek Rybka and dr. hab. Danuta Witkowska.
