Dr Agnieszka Razim among 24 scientists honoured by „National Geographic”

We are delighted to announce that Agnieszka Razim, PhD, from the Microbiome Immunobiology Laboratory at the IIET PAS, has been featured in an article published in the latest July issue of National Geographic magazine.

The article was published to mark the Year of Science Popularisation 2026, which has been declared in Poland. The magazine’s editorial team presented profiles of 24 Polish researchers whose achievements are recognised both at home and abroad and who – through their discoveries – are changing the way we understand the world and contributing to the advancement of science and the improvement of quality of life.

Agnieszka Razim, PhD, has been included in this prestigious group alongside such eminent figures as Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski, PhD, Prof. Krzysztof Pyrć, Prof. Agnieszka Chacińska and Prof. Piotr Sankowski.

In the article, Dr Razim talks about her academic journey, her research into intranasal vaccines, and the bacterial extracellular vesicles that fascinate her – an area of research with great potential for the development of modern medicine.

We warmly congratulate Dr Agnieszka Razim on this honour! We are delighted that the scientific work carried out at our Institute has been recognised by the editorial team of one of the world’s most renowned popular science magazines.
