Achievements:
- Certification of the centre for CAR-T therapy in November 2019, which led to the first use of this innovative technology in a paediatric patient in Poland (March 2020). Since then, over 50 further patients have received this therapy
- Principal investigator at the clinical centre belonging to the EU RECOMB consortium, which is introducing autologous gene therapy using modified haematopoietic stem cells to treat patients with RAG1-SCID (first patient in Poland and Europe outside the Netherlands – in October 2024; subsequent patients received the therapy in 2026)
- Team coordinator who performed the first transplants in Poland for metabolic disorders and certain rare primary immunodeficiencies in children
- 18th place in the prestigious ‘Puls Medycyny’ poll – the ‘List of 100’ most influential people in Polish medicine in 2025
