Tomasz Goszczyński is a graduate of the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Wrocław. In his research, he combines chemistry and biology, developing chemical tools to investigate the fundamentals of various biological processes. He focuses in particular on new biologically active compounds based on stable, inorganic boron clusters. He investigates their impact on molecular processes occurring within cells and their potential applications in biology and medicine. Since 2020, he has headed the Laboratory of Biomedical Chemistry at the Ludwik Hirszfeld Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
