Radosław Zagożdżon is an experimental immunologist and translational researcher affiliated with the Medical University of Warsaw, where he heads the Laboratory of Cellular and Genetic Therapies and serves as the National Node Director for BBMRI.pl. His research focuses on advanced cellular immunotherapies, particularly CAR-T and CAR-NK cell strategies, T-cell biology, and mechanisms of immune exhaustion in cancer and chronic diseases. In recent years, he has led translational studies aimed at improving the efficacy and safety of adoptive cell therapies, including novel CAR-based approaches for solid tumors and molecular profiling of patient responses to CAR-T treatment. His work combines molecular oncology, epigenetics, and immune engineering to develop personalized therapeutic strategies for malignant and non-malignant disorders.
